Tuesday 19 November 2013 - "Captain's Choice" Boeing 757-2T5 G-MONJ spends day parked up

"Captain's Choice" Boeing 757-2T5 G-MONJ which had arrived from Luton on Monday morning
spent the day parked up in front of the Monarch Hangar waiting its turn to go inside for a check
- the aircraft is operated by Monarch on behalf of "Captain's Choice" - an Australian tour operator
that specialises in luxury air tours for which the aircraft is fitted out in a VIP configuration

Lufthansa Regional Embraer 195LR D-AEMC operated their morning service to Munich - the aircraft
has recently been transferred from the now defunct Augsburg Airways to Lufthansa CityLine

Lufthansa "Sharklet" equipped Airbus A320-214 D-AIZT operated their lunchtime service to Frankfurt

Thomson Boeing 737-8K5 G-TAWL operated their flight from Alicante

Monday 11 November 2013 - Star Air Boeing 767-219F OY-SRG flying for UPS makes its first visit to BHX

Star Air Boeing 767-219F OY-SRG flying on behalf of UPS made its first visit to BHX when it was
an early morning visitor to the Elmdon apron routing from Cologne to Belfast International via BHX
due to the overnight closure of the runway at East Midlands for maintenance Photo: Mike Hollick

Air Bright Antonov 26B LZ-ABR which had been parked up on the Elmdon apron since
it arrived on the previous Wednesday evening was an afternoon departure to Hahn....

.... quickly climbing off Runway 15 into the low cloud

Lufthansa "Sharklet" equipped Airbus A320-214 D-AIZZ operated their lunchtime service to Frankfurt
- its first visit to BHX. It wears a slightly different scheme to their out recent additions ....

.... with a small Lufthansa "crane" on the winglets - and no "lufthansa.com" titles on the rear fuselage

CityJet Avro RJ85 EI-RJO was a lunchtime arrival when it positioned back from Gothenburg
after earlier operating the first of a series of charters that continue until Friday
